Programme Finance Lead - Must have active SC clearance!
Are you ready to make a significant impact on a central government programme's financial management and governance? We are looking for a dynamic Programme Finance Lead to join their very busy PMO team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and take ownership of the maintenance of the programme’s financial cost model and other trackers.
- Update the financial cost model with resource profiles and forecast costs.
- Conduct cost modelling and re-profiling in line with resource requirements.
- Perform ad-hoc and monthly receipting on the system.
- Execute ad-hoc cross-checking between different data sources and reconcile accordingly.
- Engage regularly with supplier stakeholders to gather necessary information and resolve issues.
- Undertake detailed analysis to accurately report financial and commercial programme data.
- Raise purchase orders on the system.
- Manage, maintain, and monitor commercial contract renewals.
- Assist in preparing presentation slide decks for programme and senior management team (SMT) levels.
- Potentially undertake other roles and responsibilities across other PMO functions.
Desirable Experience:
- Undertaking resource on-boarding and off-boarding.
- Programme governance reporting.
- RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) and Project Plans assurance.
Qualifications:
- Must have active SC clearance
- Proven experience in financial cost modelling and management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Proficiency in financial systems and tools.
