We are seeking an experienced and innovative Data Architect to join a dynamic team. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of data architecture and cloud technologies, coupled with strong customer-facing and stakeholder management skills. Experience in the financial services sector is highly desirable.

Role Highlights

• Position: Data Architect
• Location: London Or Manchester(Hybrid working model – Office & Home)
• Salary: £75,000 - £95,000 + bonus + benefits

What You’ll do:

• Design and implement scalable and robust data architectures that meet business requirements.
• Develop strategic data models, databases, integration processes.
• Leverage cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to design and deploy data solutions.
• Collaborate closely with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Engage with stakeholders at all levels to ensure alignment and buy-in for architectural strategies.
• Provide expert guidance on data management, data governance, and data quality best practices.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in data architecture and cloud technologies.
• Lead and mentor junior architects and data engineers within the team.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Data Architect or similar role, with a strong portfolio of successful projects. 
• Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their data services.
• Strong understanding of data modelling, database design, and data integration techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to engage with clients and stakeholders effectively.
• Experience in the financial services sector is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Relevant certifications in cloud technologies and data architecture are a plus.

Desired: 

• Experience with AWS.
• Architecture framework understanding including TOGAF or Zachman
• Experience with customer master data, logistics and marketing platforms

 Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Professional certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Data Engineer) and data management (e.g., CDMP) are highly desirable.
